"We abstained, not voted against": Arega Hovsepyan counters Nazeli Baghdasaryan

Arega Hovsepyan, a deputy of the “Strong Armenia” faction, reported that the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Labor and Welfare of the RA NA Nazeli Baghdasaryan did not allow them to participate in the meeting.

“Of course, this is a vivid proof of why the programs implemented for the people of Artsakh today are so ineffective: because they are not inclusive, they are not comprehensive, and that is the very reason why people are unable to benefit from this program.

We abstained because this program is ineffective, and the numbers speak about it, and the simple people of Artsakh speak about it,” said Hovsepyan.

Let us recall that on October 12, the NA was discussing the issue of ratifying the financial agreement “Armenia Housing and Mortgage Market Development Program” between the Republic of Armenia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development to assist displaced families in acquiring apartments or covering housing costs.
