"Zhoghovurd": What did the Azerbaijani soldier say about invading an Armenian family?

Although the preliminary investigation body is investigating the case in strict secrecy and does not distribute press releases and degrading videos during the process, as is the case with cases involving oppositionists, some information nevertheless reached “Zhoghovurd”.

««Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթին բացառիկ մանրամասներ են յայտնի դարձել, թէ ինչ է պատմել ՀՀ սահմանն ապօրինի հատած եւ հայ ընտանիք ներխուժած, մահափորձ իրականացրած ադրբեջանցի զինծառայող Նասիմի Մուսաեւը։

In particular, according to the “Zhoghovurd” daily, Musayev justified himself to law enforcement officers that he had no intention of harming anyone when he entered the house of the Armenian family.

Թէեւ նախաքննական մարմինը գործը քննում է խիստ գաղտնիութեան պայմաններում, եւ ընդդիմադիրներին առնչւող գործերի նման յընթացս մամուլի հաղորդագրութիւններ ու նսեմացուցիչ տեսանիւթեր չի տարածում, այնուամենայնիւ, որոշ տեղեկութիւններ «Ժողովուրդ»-ին հասու դարձան: Մասնաւորապէս, «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի տեղեկութիւններով՝ Մուսաեւը իրաւապահների մօտ արդարացել է, թէ հայ ընտանիքի տուն մտնելիս որեւէ մէկին վնասելու մտադրութիւն չի ունեցել։

According to him, he asked several times to “let me go,” but when the landlady grabbed the butt of his weapon, he shot.

Նրա պնդմամբ՝ մի քանի անգամ խնդրել է՝ «թողէք գնամ», սակայն, երբ տանտիրուհին բռնել է իր զէնքի առաջամասից, ինքը կրակել է։

Moreover, the Azerbaijani soldier claimed in writing that after that his wife and family members attacked him, stabbed and beat him.

Աւելին՝ ադրբեջանցի զինծառայողը գրաւոր պնդել է, թէ դրանից յետոյ կինը եւ ընտանիքի անդամները յարձակւել են իր վրայ, դանակով հարւածել ու ծեծել իրեն։

It seems that he was standing innocently in one place, and the Armenian family attacked him.

Կարծես, ինքը անմեղ կանգնած է եղել մի վայրում, հայ ընտանիքը յարձակւել է իր վրայ: Ուշագրաւ է նաեւ Մուսաեւի պատմած մէկ այլ դրւագ։

Another episode narrated by Musayev is also noteworthy.

Ըստ նրա՝ ինքը, արդէն արնաքամ վիճակում, կարողացել է փախչել տնից, իսկ աւելի ուշ իրաւապահները նրան յայտնաբերել են դաշտում՝ վիրաւոր վիճակում։

According to him, he, already bleeding, managed to escape from the house, and later law enforcement officers found him in the field, wounded.

Մինչդեռ ադրբեջանցի զինծառայողի կրակոցներից վիրաւորւած Անի Աւետիսեանը հոկտեմբերի 1-ին իր տանը տեղի ունեցած միջադէպի վերաբերեալ «Ազատութեան»-ը բոլորովին այլ, բաւականին դաժան մանրամասներ է պատմել։

Meanwhile, Ani Avetisyan, who was wounded by the shots of the Azerbaijani soldier, told “Liberty” completely different, rather brutal details about the incident that occurred in her house on October 1.

Նրա խօսքով՝ զինւած տղամարդը զէնքն ուղղել է երեխաների վրայ, ապա կրակել իր ուղղութեամբ։

According to her, the armed man pointed his weapon at the children, and then fired in her direction.

Կինը պատմել է, որ փորձել է պաշտպանել երեխաներին, բռնել զէնքը, ինչի հետեւանքով վնասւել է ձեռքը, իսկ հետագայ կրակոցից՝ նաեւ ոտքը։

The woman said that she tried to protect the children, grabbed the weapon, as a result of which her hand was injured, and from the subsequent shot, her leg.

Նրա պնդմամբ՝ զինծառայողը փորձել է կրկին լիցքաւորել զէնքը, սակայն ի վերջոյ փախել է տնից։

According to her, the soldier tried to reload the weapon, but in the end he ran away from home.

«Եթէ ես էդ րոպէին չկողմնորոշւէի, հիմա համ ես չէի լինի, համ էլ երեխէքը»,- «Ազատութեան»-ն ասել է Անի Աւետիսեանը։

“If I had not made up my mind at that moment, neither I nor the child would be here now,” Ani Avetisyan told RFE/RL.

Այսպիսով՝ ադրբեջանցի զինծառայողի՝ «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթին յայտնի դարձած ցուցմունքն ու տուժած կնոջ հրապարակային պատմութիւնը էականօրէն տարբերւում են։

Thus, the testimony of the Azerbaijani soldier published by the Zhoghovurd daily and the public story of the injured woman differ significantly.

Մի դէպքում զինծառայողը կրակոցը ներկայացնում է որպէս ընտանիքի անդամների գործողութիւններին արձագանգ, միւս դէպքում կինը պնդում է, որ զինւած անձից պաշտպանել է իրեն ու երեխաներին։

In one case, the soldier presents the shot as a response to the actions of family members, in the other case, the woman claims that she protected herself and the children from the gunman.

Թէ իրականում ինչ է տեղի ունեցել այդ տանը, ինչ հանգամանքներում են արձակւել կրակոցները, եւ ինչ ապացոյցներով են հաստատւում կամ հերքւում կողմերի ներկայացրած վարկածները, պէտք է պարզի նախաքննութիւնը։

"What actually happened in that house, under what circumstances the shots were fired, and what evidence confirms or refutes the versions presented by the parties, should be clarified by the preliminary investigation.

Եթէ իրապէս օբիեկտիւ լինի, այլ ոչ թէ քաղաքական իշխանութեան թելադրանքով եւս այս գործը քննի, ինչպէս Փաշինեանի ընդդիմախօսների գործերն է քննում»:

If it is truly objective, and not at the behest of the political authorities, it will also investigate this case, as it investigates the cases of Pashinyan's opponents."
