The parliament has been heatedly discussing the ratification of the agreement to host COP-17, the UN Conference on Biological Diversity, in Yerevan.

Խորհրդարանում թեժ է անցել COP-17-ը՝ ՄԱԿ-ի կենսաբազմազանության համաժողովը, Երևանում կազմակերպելու վերաբերյալ համաձայնագրի վավերացման հարցի քննարկումը: COP-17-ի անցկացման համար կառավարությունը հատկացրել է 2 միլիոն 166 հազար դոլար: Խորհրդարանական ընդդիմությունը պնդում է, որ որոշ ծախսեր ուռճացվել են և կարելի էր միայն թերմոսների, բեյջի թելերի և էկո պայուսակների գնումների ժամանակ խնայել մոտ 85 միլիոն դրամ:

The government has allocated $2 million 166 thousand for the holding of COP-17.

The parliamentary opposition claims that some expenses have been inflated and that about 85 million drams could have been saved only on the purchase of thermoses, badge threads and eco-bags.
