Brussels prefers boycott to dialogue with Georgia, which is fundamentally contrary to European values, said Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili.

It is important for Georgia to maintain ties with the member states, because confrontation is not the European path.

Unfortunately, the Brussels bureaucracy has chosen this very un-European path.

It is time for Brussels to abandon confrontation and return to the European path, added Shalva Papuashvili.

It should be noted that EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos stated that Brussels will not cooperate with the Georgian authorities until they start moving towards European values.
