Amulsar project is an opportunity to show that mining and tourism can develop together: Minister of Tourism

According to "Armenpress", this was announced by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, David Khudatyan, at the event dedicated to the launch of the Amulsar mine operation.

«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ Ամուլսարի հանքավայրի շահագործման մեկնարկին նվիրված միջոցառմանը այս մասին հայտարարեց ՀՀ տարածքային կառավարման և ենթակառուցվածքների նախարար Դավիթ Խուդաթյանը։

"I want to emphasize that this is a very good opportunity for Amulsar partners, those responsible for the subsoil use sector, and each of us to show and prove that mining and tourism can operate side by side, without interfering with each other and without disrupting nature.

«Ուզում եմ շեշտել, որ սա շատ լավ հնարավորություն է Ամուլսարի գործընկերների, ընդերքօգտագործման ոլորտի պատասխանատուների, մեզանից յուրաքանչյուրի համար՝ ցույց տալու, ապացուցելու, որ հանքարդյունաբերությունը, զբոսաշրջությունը կարող են աշխատել իրար կողքи՝ չխանգարելով մեկը մյուսին և չխաթարելով բնությունը։

I am confident that as a result of joint work, we will have this very picture," Khudatyan noted.

Վստահ եմ, որ համատեղ աշխատանքի արդյունքում հենց այս պատկերն էլ ունենալու ենք»,– նշեց Խուդաթյանը։

The Minister also touched upon the opportunities that the exploitation of the mine will open up for the adjacent settlements of Vayots Dzor and Syunik regions.

Նախարարն անդրադարձավ նաև հանքավայրի շահագործմամբ Վայոց ձորի և Սյունիքի մարզերի հարակից բնակավայրերի համար բացվող հնարավորություններին։

"First of all, these are thousands of fairly high-paying jobs, sustainable contributions to communities, which will significantly change the face of settlements adjacent to the mine," he emphasized.

«Սա առաջին հերթին բավական բարձր վարձատրվող հազարավոր աշխատատեղեր են, համայնքներին կայուն մասհանումներ են, որոնք էականորեն փոխելու են հանքավայրի հարակից բնակավայրերի դիմագիծը»,- ընդգծեց նա։

According to Khudatyan, the economic impact of the program will also be felt by citizens living far from the mine.

Խուդաթյանի խոսքով՝ ծրագրի տնտեսական ազդեցությունը զգալու են նաև հանքավայրից հեռու բնակվող քաղաքացիները։

He linked the expected changes to schools, kindergartens, roads, other large infrastructure and social programs financed by tax revenues.

Նա ակնկալվող փոփոխությունները կապեց հարկային մուտքերով ֆինանսավորվող դպրոցների, մանկապարտեզների, ճանապարհների, այլ խոշոր ենթակառուցվածքների և սոցիալական ծրագրերի հետ։

The Minister congratulated the participants of the event, wishing them effective and trouble-free work.
