Overchuk: The process of abandoning the dollar in the world can no longer be stopped

He said this on Channel One.

“In fact, those people who decided to turn the system of mutual settlements and the American dollar into a weapon made a serious mistake in their calculations.

They did not think about how this could develop in the future.

Today we see that countries are gradually abandoning the dollar, considering it, unfortunately or fortunately, an unreliable currency.

Alternatives are being created all over the world.

This is a process that can no longer be stopped,” he noted.

Overchuk also touched upon the implementation of the North-South International Transport Corridor project.

“Here, cargo transportation is carried out through the territory of countries friendly to us.

It is safe.

"And from this perspective, "North-South" will also be attractive," the Russian Deputy Prime Minister added.
