One person was killed in a car accident in Armenia's Ararat Province, according to the crime news website

It was reported that on October 9 at 7:10 PM, on the road leading from the Banavan neighborhood (Ararat) to the Ararat Cement plant, a BMW veered off the road and fell into a ravine.

Отмечается, что 9 октября в 19:10 на дороге, ведущей от квартала Банаван (город Арарат) к заводу "Араратцемент", автомобиль марки BMW съехал с проезжей части и упал в овраг.

The driver died at the scene.

В результате аварии водитель скончался на месте.

A criminal case has been opened, and an investigation is underway.

По факту ДТП заведено уголовное дело, ведется следствие.

According to the publication, the driver of the car was 46-year-old Harutyun Kendrjyan, brother of Karen Kendrjyan, deputy head of the Ararat community.

По данным издания, за рулем автомобиля был 46-летний Арутюн Кендрджян – брат заместителя главы укрупненной общины Арарат Карена Кендрджяна.
