Armenia is preparing for all scenarios of possible spread of the plague from Russia

An outbreak of plague in Irkutsk has not yet been confirmed, but the situation has already raised a number of important questions for Armenia. Russia has implemented extensive restrictions, hundreds of people have been isolated, and the WHO has requested additional information from Moscow.

Իրկուտսկում ժանտախտի բռնկում դեռ չի հաստատվել, բայց ստեղծված իրավիճակն արդեն բարձրացրել է մի շարք կարևոր հարցեր նաև Հայաստանի համար։ Ռուսաստանում կիրառվել են լայն սահմանափակումներ, մեկուսացվել են հարյուրավոր մարդիկ, իսկ ԱՀԿ-ն լրացուցիչ տեղեկություններ է պահանջել Մոսկվայից։

Armenia has a large daily passenger flow with Russia, many citizens and compatriots live and work there. In these conditions, it is important to understand how prepared Armenia is for a possible epidemic risk, how it receives and checks information, and how it should act if the situation changes.
