Jonah's sleep
This is my epitaph from the book of the prophet Jonah.
His story is one of the most extraordinary miracles.
The believer, of course, must look to the spirit of that story, and not to the letter, and when one looks from the perspective of that spirit, one encounters there a study of the human heart and the ways of God and is convinced that this book is wonderful both in its originality and brevity.
