The proposal to sign the Council of Europe Convention on the Co-Production of Audiovisual Works in the Format of Series was approved at the October 8 session of the Armenian Government.

Armenia to join Council of Europe convention on co-production of TV series

The proposal to sign the Council of Europe Convention on the Co-production of Audiovisual Works in the Format of Series was approved at the October 8 session of the Armenian Government.

Why is it important? The signing of the document opens up new opportunities for Armenian media production, facilitating participation in international projects and expanding the distribution of TV series in foreign markets.

Ինչու է դա կարևոր. Փաստաթղթի ստորագրումը նոր հնարավորություններ է բացում հայկական մեդիաարտադրության համար՝ դյուրացնելով մասնակցությունը միջազգային նախագծերին և ընդլայնելով հեռուստասերիալների տարածումը արտասահմանյան շուկաներում:

Main expectations and international context.

Հիմնական ակնկալիքներն ու միջազգային համատեքստը.

Development of the sector. The convention will contribute to increasing the competitiveness and recognition of domestic audiovisual products.

Ոլորտի զարգացում. Կոնվենցիան կնպաստի հայրենական տեսալսողական արտադրանքի մրցունակության բարձրացմանն ու ճանաչելիությանը:

Expansion of partnership. Cooperation with the Council of Europe member and partner states will be deepened.

Գործընկերության ընդլայնում. Խորանալու է համագործակցությունը ԵԽ անդամ և գործընկեր պետությունների հետ:

International coverage. At the moment, the document has been signed by 11 Council of Europe member states: France, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Moldova and the United Kingdom.

Միջազգային ընդգրկում. Այս պահին փաստաթուղթը ստորագրել է ԵԽ 11 անդամ պետություն՝ Ֆրանսիան, Վրաստանը, Հունաստանը, Իտալիան, Լյուքսեմբուրգը, Մալթան, Չեռնոգորիան, Լեհաստանը, Պորտուգալիան, Մոլդովան և Միացյալ Թագավորությունը:
