Hayk Mkrtchyan, Head of the Cybercrime Department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, referred to the targeting of children and adolescents on the Internet, the phenomenon of sexual extortion (sextortion) and blackmail carried out through artificial intelligence.

ՀՀ ՆԳՆ կիբեռհանցագործությունների դեմ պայքարի վարչության պետ Հայկ Մկրտչյանն անդրադարձել է համացանցում երեխաների և դեռահասների թիրախավորմանը, սեռական շորթման (սեքսթորշն) երևույթին և արհեստական բանականության միջոցով իրականացվող շանտաժներին: Վարչության պետի պարզաբանմամբ՝ սեռական շորթումը երևույթ է, երբ չարագործը սպառնում է հրապարակել կամ տարածել անձի սեռական բնույթի նյութերը (հաղորդագրություններ, մերկ լուսանկարներ կամ տեսանյութեր), եթե զոհը չկատարի իր պահանջները։

According to the head of the department, sexual extortion is a phenomenon when the perpetrator threatens to publish or distribute sexual materials (messages, nude photos or videos) of a person if the victim does not comply with his demands.
