The memory of those who died in that part of the Conservatory is immortalized in a different way: Nurijanyan

The memory of the musicians who died in the war continues to live on at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory.

Olya Nurijanyan, the scientific secretary of the Conservatory, said this in an interview with Sputnik Armenia.

Earlier today, musicologist Vardan Hakobyan published a photo of one of the empty walls of the conservatory and noted that there were pictures of musicians who died in the war there, which were removed.

He emphasized that it is the duty of the conservatory's students and faculty to restore that corner.

Նա ընդգծել էր, որ այդ անկյունը վերականգնելը կոնսերվատորիայի ուսանողության ու դասախոսական կազմի պարտքն

He did not answer the specific question of whether the photos were removed from that wall or not.

"The way of keeping the memory of the boys alive has not changed, and you can come and see for yourself how it is done now," he said.
