Will contribute to the distribution of Armenian soap operas in international markets

According to the justification, the signing of the Convention by the Republic of Armenia will provide an opportunity to develop and deepen cooperation with the Council of Europe member states, as well as other partner countries in the audiovisual sector, promote the participation of Armenian producers in international joint projects, expand the opportunities for the production and distribution of Armenian serials in international markets, ensure the introduction of European best practices and standards in the sector, and increase the competitiveness and recognition of Armenian audiovisual products.

Ըստ հիմնավորման՝ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության կողմից Կոնվենցիայի ստորագրումը հնարավորություն կընձեռի զարգացնել և խորացնել համագործակցությունը Եվրոպայի խորհրդի անդամ պետությունների, ինչպես նաև այլ գործընկեր երկրների հետ տեսալսողական ոլորտում, խթանել հայաստանյան արտադրողների մասնակցությունը միջազգային համատեղ նախագծերին, ընդլայնել հայկական սերիալների արտադրության և տարածման հնարավորությունները միջազգային շուկաներում, ապահովել ոլորտում եվրոպական լավագույն փորձի և չափանիշների ներդրում, բարձրացնել Հայաստանի տեսալսողական արտադրանքի մրցունակությունն ու ճանաչելիությունը։

The Convention has currently been signed by 11 Council of Europe member states: France, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Moldova, and the United Kingdom.

Կոնվենցիան այս պահի դրությամբ ստորագրել են ԵԽ անդամ 11 պետություն՝ Ֆրանսիան, Վրաստանը, Հունաստանը, Իտալիան, Լյուքսեմբուրգը, Մալթան, Մոնտենեգրոն, Լեհաստանը, Պորտուգալիան, Մոլդովան, Միացյալ Թագավորությունը:

However, the document has not yet entered into force. This requires ratification by 3 states, of which at least 2 must be Council of Europe member states.

Փաստաթուղթը, սակայն, դեռևս ուժի մեջ չի մտել։ Դրա համար անհրաժեշտ է 3 պետության կողմից վավերացում, որից առնվազն 2-ը պետք է լինեն ԵԽ անդամ պետություններ:
