The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that there are no signs of new infections at the Irkutsk Plague Research Institute in Siberia, Russia, after a researcher died of pneumonic plague, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Monday.

The statement came after reports emerged that a researcher at the institute had died of pneumonic plague.

“No cases of this dangerous disease have been recorded in the city of Irkutsk in the Russian Federation,” Russian authorities said in an official response to a request from the World Health Organization.

The World Health Organization also said in a statement that all contacts of the deceased person have been identified and are being monitored for symptoms, and none of them have shown any signs of the disease so far.

The WHO said initial tests had been negative, although it was not clear which pathogens were being tested.

“Based on available anecdotal information, the risk to the public health of the population at this time appears to be low,” the WHO said, adding that the risk assessment would be updated as more information becomes available.

The WHO also said a woman in her late 20s died in Russia on Friday of severe pneumonia, but the cause of death was not yet known, according to reports.

Russian authorities are investigating whether the death of the researcher at the Institute for the Prevention of Plague was linked to pneumonic plague.

The institute studies dangerous pathogens, including the plague pathogen.

Plague can also occur naturally in wildlife in the region.

The WHO said it had not yet received an official notification of the incident through the International Health Regulations mechanisms.

The organization suggested that this was because Russia was considering whether the incident fell under international reporting requirements.

The World Health Organization (WHO) on Saturday asked Russian authorities to provide more information about the incident.

Under international health regulations, Russia has 24 hours to respond to the request.

However, it is not clear whether Moscow has responded to the WHO’s request.
