This year's Nobel Prize winner in physics announced

Belgian-American particle physicist Francis Haltsen has been awarded the 2026 Nobel Prize in Physics "for his decisive contributions to the creation of the IceCube neutrino observatory and for the discovery of high-energy neutrinos of astrophysical origin."
