The National Commission of Armenia for UNESCO held its regular session

Minister Mirzoyan made an opening speech, touching upon the priorities of Armenia’s involvement in multilateral platforms, issues of cooperation with UNESCO, and initiatives arising from the foreign policy agenda.

Նախարար Միրզոյանը հանդես է եկել բացման խոսքով՝ անդրադառնալով բազմակողմ հարթակներում ՀՀ ներգրավածության առաջնահերթություններին, ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի հետ փոխգործակցության հարցերին և արտաքին քաղաքական օրակարգից բխող նախաձեռնություններին:

The session was attended by the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Zhanna Andreasyan, the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Armenia Hambardzum Matevosyan, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Gevorg Papoyan, representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Armenia, the Prime Minister’s Administration of the Republic of Armenia, the Yerevan Municipality, the Matenadaran, and other departments.

Նիստին մասնակցել են ՀՀ կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի և սպորտի նախարար Ժաննա Անդրեասյանը, ՀՀ շրջակա միջավայրի նախարար Համբարձում Մաթևոսյանը, ՀՀ Էկոնոմիկայի նախարար Գևորգ Պապոյանը, ՀՀ նախագահի աշխատակազմի, ՀՀ վարչապետի աշխատակազմի, Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի և Մատենադարանի, այլ գերատեսչությունների ներկայացուցիչներ:

During the session, the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Armenia Zhanna Andreasyan presented the initiatives of the Republic of Armenia for new registrations in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative and Main Lists and the Intangible Cultural Heritage List, as well as applications for registration in the International Memory of the World Register, and the ongoing work on them.

Նիստի ընթացքում ՀՀ ԿԳՄՍ նախարար Ժաննա Անդրեասյանը ներկայացրել է ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի Համաշխարհային ժառանգության նախնական և հիմնական ցանկերում և ոչ նյութական մշակութային ժառանգության ցանկում ՀՀ կողմից նոր գրանցումների նախաձեռնությունները, ինչպես նաև Աշխարհի հիշողության միջազգային ռեգիստրում գրանցման հայտերին, այդ տարվող ընթացիկ աշխատանքները:

The participants touched upon the steps aimed at ensuring the active involvement of the Republic of Armenia in the sphere of culture and education, including the membership of the cities of the Republic of Armenia in the Creative, Learning Cities Network, increasing participation in the UNESCO Associated Schools Network (ASPnet), as well as the issues of introducing innovative approaches in all these areas. Thoughts were exchanged on the proposals for including anniversaries in the UNESCO calendar for 2028-2029.

Անդրադարձ է կատարվել մշակույթի և կրթության ոլորտում ՀՀ ակտիվ ներգրավածության ապահովմանն ուղղված քայլերին, այդ թվում՝ Ստեղծարար, Ուսումնառող քաղաքների ցանցերին ՀՀ քաղաքների անդամակցությանը, ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի ասոցացված դպրոցների ցանցում (ASPnet) մասնակցության ավելացմանը, ինչպես նաև այս բոլոր ուղղություններով նորարարական մոտեցումների ներդրման հարցերի: Մտքեր են փոխանակվել 2028-2029թթ. ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի օրացույցում հոբելյանների ներառման առաջարկությունների շուրջ:

In the context of discussing the advantages of implementing various programs, the importance of their strategic choice was also emphasized from the point of view of the economic development of the Republic of Armenia and their direct impact on public life.

Տարբեր ծրագրերի իրականացման առավելությունների քննարկման համատեքստում կարևորվել է դրանց վերաբերյալ ռազմավարական ընտրությունը նաև ՀՀ տնտեսական զարգացման և անմիջականորեն հանրային կյանքի վրա ազդեցության տեսանկյունից:

RA Minister of Environment Hambardzum Matevosyan emphasized the interconnectedness of the spheres of environmental protection and natural heritage preservation and the possible prospects for the development of international cooperation in this direction by Armenia, including as the host country of the COP17 conference. Among other initiatives, the activation of cooperation within the framework of the Man and the Biosphere program was touched upon.

ՀՀ ՇՄ նախարար Համբարձում Մաթևոսյանը ընդգծել է բնապահպանության և բնական ժառանգության պահպանման ոլորտների փոխկապակցվածությունը և այդ ուղղությամբ Հայաստանի՝ այդ թվում նաև՝ որպես COP17 համաժողով հյուրընկալող երկրի կողմից միջազգային համագործակցության զարգացման հնարավոր հեռանկարները: Ի թվիս այլ նախաձեռնությունների, անդրադարձ է կատարվել Մարդը և կենսոլորտը ծրագրի շրջանակներում համագործակցության ակտիվացմանը:

RA Deputy Minister of Environment Robert Abisoghomonyan presented the recent work and existing achievements in expanding Armenia’s representation in UNESCO’s professional bodies. Priority areas for Armenia to be addressed and initiatives were outlined, including within the framework of the Education for Peace vision.

ՀՀ ԱԳՄԱ նախարարի տեղակալ Ռոբերտ Աբիսողոմոնյանը ներկայացրել է ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի մասնագիտական մարմիններում Հայաստանի ներկայացվածության ընդլայնման ուղղությամբ վերջին շրջանում իրականացված աշխատանքները և առկա ձեռքբերումները: Նախանշվել են ՀՀ համար առաջնահերթություն ներկայացնող ուղղություններով անելիքներն ու նախաձեռնությունները, այդ թվում՝ Կրթությունը հանուն խաղաղության տեսլականի շրջանակներում։

During the session, an exchange of views took place on the issues of continuous improvement of the structural and professional potential of the Commission in accordance with the expanding areas of cooperation with UNESCO, the release notes.

Նիստի ընթացքում տեղի է ունեցել մտքերի փոխանակում հանձնաժողովի կառուցվածքային և մասնագիտական ներուժի շարունակական կատարելագործման հարցերի շուրջ՝ ըստ ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի հետ փոխգործակցության ընդլայնվող ուղղությունների,- նշվում է հաղորդագրությունում։
