President Vahagn Khachaturyan received Antonio Feijó, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation

The President welcomed the guests and congratulated the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation on the occasion of its 70th anniversary. He highly appreciated the activities of the Foundation, emphasizing the importance of the educational, scientific and cultural programs implemented in Armenia and the Diaspora over the past decades.

Նախագահը ողջունել է հյուրերին և շնորհավորել Գալուստ Գյուլբենկյան հիմնադրամի 70-ամյա հոբելյանի առթիվ։ Նա բարձր է գնահատել հիմնադրամի գործունեությունը՝ ընդգծելով անցած տասնամյակների ընթացքում Հայաստանում և Սփյուռքում իրականացված կրթական, գիտական և մշակութային ծրագրերի կարևորությունը։

President Khachaturyan particularly attached importance to the initiatives aimed at the preservation and development of the Armenian cultural heritage in Armenia and the world, as well as the expansion of cooperation between the state and the Foundation and the implementation of new joint programs, the statement said.

Նախագահ Խաչատուրյանը հատկապես կարևորել է Հայաստանում և աշխարհում հայկական մշակութային ժառանգության պահպանմանն ու զարգացմանն ուղղված նախաձեռնությունները, ինչպես նաև պետության և հիմնադրամի միջև համագործակցության ընդլայնումն ու նոր համատեղ ծրագրերի իրականացումը,- նշվում է հաղորդագրությունում։
