This was reported by "Armenpress", citing the International Institute for the Study of Genocide and Human Rights.

Folco Galli, an employee of the communications department of the Swiss Federal Office of Justice, said that Switzerland will demand that the ECHR refer the case to the Supreme Court by March 17.
On December 17 of last year, the European Court of Human Rights upheld the claim of Doğu Perincek, who was found guilty by a Swiss court for denying the Armenian Genocide. The European Court justified the upholding of his claim by the fact that the Swiss court violated Articles 10 and 7 of the European Convention on Freedom of Expression. However, the European Court’s decision was riddled with factual inaccuracies and was not unanimous, as two of the seven judges examining the case, Nebojsa Vučinić (Montenegro) and Paulo Pinto de Albuquerque (Portugal), dissented.
In March 2007, the Lausanne Police Court convicted and fined the leader of the Workers’ Party, Doğu Perincek, for brazenly calling the Armenian Genocide an “international lie,” accusing him of racial discrimination. The verdict was upheld by the Swiss Court of Appeal, which ruled that he had violated Article 216 of the Criminal Code.
