The opening of the student forum took place on July 5 at the “Pandok Yerevan” restaurant, where the young people got to know each other and the elderly Hamazkayin members over national songs and dances.

Աստուածածին (Եօթը վէրք) եկեղեցիներ: Անոնք այցելեցին նաեւ Համազգայինի Գիւմրիի գրասենեակ եւ ծանօթացան գրասենեակի գործունէութեան: 6 Յուլիսի երեկոյեան ֆորումականները իրենց մասնակցութիւնը բերին «Ո՞վ է հայը» խորագիրով զրոյցին: Երիտասարդներէն իւրաքանչիւրը նշեալ հարցին վերաբերող տարբեր մօտեցում եւ ընկալում ունեցաւ, յատկապէս` մեկնելով այն իրողութենէն, որ իւրաքանչիւրը կու գայ տարբեր երկրէ, տարբեր միջավայրէ: Ծաւալեցաւ հետաքրքրական եւ շինիչ զրոյց մը, որ մտածելու, անձնական փորձառութիւններու մասին արտայայտուելու եւ ապրումներ փոխանակելու առիթ եղաւ: Գիւմրիի մէջ յատկանշական էր «Խաչքարերու ծանօթացում եւ վարպետաց դասընթացք» խորագիրով աշխատանոցը, զոր վարեց լիբանանահայ հայրենադարձ Նարինէ Փոլատեանը: 8 Յուլիսին ֆորումի մասնակիցները այցելեցին Լոռի: Երկու օրերուն ընթացքին անոնք ծանօթացան Հաղբատ եւ Սանահին վանական համալիրներուն եւ Դսեղ գիւղին մէջ գտնուող Յովհաննէս Թումանեանի տուն-թանգարանին: 9 Յուլիսին ուղղութիւնը եղաւ դէպի Հաղարծին, որմէ ետք` Դիլիջան եւ Սեւանայ լիճ (Սեւանավանք): 10 Յուլիսին ֆորումականները վերադարձան Երեւան եւ անոնց առաջին այցելութեան վայրը եղաւ «Եռաբլուր» զինուորական պանթէոն, ուր իրենց յարգանքի տուրքը մատուցեցին Արցախի ազատագրական պայքարին, 2016-ի քառօրեայ եւ 2020-ի 44-օրեայ պատերազմներուն նահատակուած հերոսներուն: Ապա Ծիծեռնակաբերդի մէջ երիտասարդները իրենց յարգանքի տուրքը մատուցեցին Հայոց ցեղասպանութեան զոհերու յիշատակին: Անոնք ծանօթացան նաեւ Ցեղասպանութեան թանգարանին, հոն տեղադրուած հսկայական հաւաքածոյին: Նոյն օրը այցելութիւն կատարուեցաւ նաեւ Էջմիածինի մայր տաճար: Կէսօրէ ետք ֆորումականները հանդիպում ունեցան «Պըրթ Ռայթ Արմենիա»-ի տնօրէն Սեւան Գապաքեանի հետ, որ համառօտ ծանօթացում մը տուաւ ծրագիրի նպատակին, գործելաոճին եւ դիւրութիւններուն մասին: 11 Յուլիսին, Ուսանողական հաւաքի երիտասարդները այցելեցին Կոմիտասի թանգարան եւ պանթէոն, ծանօթացան` Կոմիտասի կեանքին, գործունէութեան, անոր ձգած հարստութեան, անոր պատկանող եւ թանգարանին մէջ պահպանուած իրերուն: Ապա անոնք այցելեցին Չարենցի կամար, Գառնի, Քարերու սիմֆոնիա եւ Գեղարդ: 12 Յուլիսին, Համազգայինի Երեւանի գրասենեակի նախաձեռնութեամբ, Օշականի Սուրբ Մեսրոպ Մաշտոց եկեղեցւոյ մէջ նշուեցաւ Քրիստոսի Պայծառակերպութեան տօնը` Վարդավառը: Ձեռնարկին մասնակցեցան Ուսանողական հաւաքի երիտասարդները, որոնք նախ եւ առաջ իրենց յարգանքի տուրք մատուցեցին Օշականի մէջ գտնուող Մեսրոպ Մաշտոցի գերեզմանին: Օշականի Սուրբ Մեսրոպ Մաշտոց եկեղեցւոյ հոգեւոր հովիւ Վազգէն քհնյ.

Before the official opening, on July 5, the forum participants visited the Sergei Parajanov Museum, where they learned about the life and work of the internationally recognized Armenian film director and great master Parajanov.

On the same day, the forum participants had a lecture-workshop led by artist and Armenian traditional dance teacher Hamazasp Aslanyan.

On Monday, July 6 and Tuesday, July 7, the forum participants visited Gyumri to get to know the cultural city of Armenia with its attractions and historical and cultural sites.

During the two days, they toured the city and visited its various museums and churches: the house-museums of Hovhannes Shiraz, Avetik Isahakyan, St.

Կարմրաւոր եկեղեցի եւ յարգանքի տուրք մատուցեցին եկեղեցւոյ բակը ամփոփուած հայ մեծանուն գրող Գէորգ Էմինի յիշատակին: Գրողի շիրիմին մօտ երիտասարդներուն իր սրտի խօսքը ուղղեց Համազգայինի Կեդրոնական վարչութեան անդամ Արեւիկ Գաբրիէլեան: Աւելի ուշ, Երեւան վերադարձին, երեկոն յատկանշուեցաւ Համազգային «Սօս Սարգսեան»-ի անուան պետական թատրոնի ներկայացումով, ուր ֆորումի մասնակիցները վայելեցին «Սուրբ Անտոնիոսի հրաշքը» գործը: Երկուշաբթի, 13 Յուլիսին այցելութիւն տրուեցաւ Ծաղկաձոր, ուր բնութեան հրաշալիքին կողքին, ֆորումականները վայելեցին ճոպանուղին: Ապա նախորդ տարիներու աւանդութիւնը շարունակելով` այս տարի եւս Համազգայինի ուսանողական հաւաքի մասնակիցները այցելեցին Ծաղկաձորի Տիրամայր Հայաստանի ճամբարը, ուր հիւրընկալուեցան ճամբարի փոքրիկներուն կողմէ, որոնց հետ ունեցան կէսօրեայ յայտագիր մը, որ կ՛ընդգրկէր` ճաշ, ընկերային պահ, երաժշտութիւն ու պար: Իւրաքանչիւր երեխայի սէրն ու ժպիտը, անոնց հետ ուսանողներուն անցուցած ժամերը իւրայատուկ դրոշմ ձգեցին իւրաքանչիւրին մօտ: 14 Յուլիսին այցելութիւնները եղան Հայաստանի հարաւային շրջանները: Խոր Վիրապի այցելութենէն ետք ֆորումականները այցելեցին Տաթեւի վանք, Հարսնաձորի դիտակէտ, Նորավանք եւ Արէնի: 15 Յուլիսի օրը սկսաւ Երեւանի պետական համալսարան այցելութեամբ: Համալսարանի սփիւռքագիտութեան ամպիոնի վարիչ Արման Եղիազարեան ֆորումականներու ծանօթացուց պետական համալսարանի բաժանմունքներն ու ընդհանրապէս համալսարանը: Նոյն օրուան երկրորդ կէսը մարզական էր: Արդարեւ, անոնք այցելեցին Երեւանի մէջ գտնուող «Կրանտ սփոր»-ի մարզական համալիր, ուր դիմաւորուեցան համալիրի պատասխանատուին կողմէ եւ ծանօթացան մարզական համալիրի զանազան բաժիններուն: Մօտաւոր մէկ ժամ պասքեթպոլի խաղէ ետք, ֆորումականները ընթրեցին «Կրանտ սփոր»-ի ճաշարանին մէջ: 16 Յուլիսի առաւօտեան ֆորումականները այցելեցին Մատենադարան, ուր ծանօթացան անոր զանազան բաժիններուն: Նոյն օրը Ուսանողական հաւաքի մասնակիցները կէսօրէ ետք Համազգայինի Երեւանի գրասենեակին մէջ հանդիպում ունեցան գրող, ուսուցիչ եւ հասարակական գործիչ Յարութիւն Պէրպէրեանի եւ Համազգայինի Կեդրոնական վարչութեան անդամ Կարօ Մանճիկեանին հետ: Յարութիւն Պէրպէրեան խօսեցաւ Համազգայինի ընդհանուր գործունէութեան մասին, խրախուսեց երիտասարդները մօտէն ծանօթանալու Համազգայինին եւ ներդրում ունենալու անոր աշխարհասփիւռ գործունէութեան մէջ: Պէրպէրեան անձնական փորձառութենէն դրուագներ ներկայացուց երիտասարդներուն, յատկապէս` Համազգայինի մէջ իր տարիներու գործունէութենէն: Ապա Կարօ Մանճիկեան իր սրտի խօսքը արտասանեց երիտասարդներուն` շեշտելով կարեւորութիւնը ֆորումի ծրագիրին եւ ընդգծելով, որ իւրաքանչիւր հայ երիտասարդ պէտք է առիթը ունենայ նման ծրագիրի մը մասնակցելու` կոչ ուղղելով երիտասարդներուն, որ իրենք եւս դառնան «դեսպան»-ներ Համազգայինի այս ծրագիրին մասին քարոզելու եւ համապատասխան քարոզչութիւն կատարելու: Ֆորումի 13 օրերու ընթացքին հայ ուսանողները առիթ կ՛ունենան` հանդիպելու հայ մտաւորականներու, քաղաքական-հասարակական գործիչներու հետ, լսելու պատմամշակութային բնաբաններով դասախօսութիւններ, քննարկելու հայ ժամանակակից երիտասարդները յուզող տարաբնոյթ հարցեր: Ամէնէն կարեւորը` անոնք առիթ կ՛ունենան սփիւռքի տարբեր երկիրներէ, տարբեր մշակոյթներէ եւ ապրելակերպերէ Հայաստան հասած երիտասարդներու հետ յարաբերելու, ծանօթանալու եւ միասնաբար մտածելու հայ երիտասարդը յուզող հարցերու մասին:

They also visited the Gyumri office of Hamazkayin and became acquainted with the office’s activities.

On the evening of July 6, the forum participants participated in a discussion entitled “Who is an Armenian?”

Each of the young people had a different approach and perception regarding the aforementioned issue, especially considering the fact that each of them comes from a different country and environment.

An interesting and constructive discussion ensued, which was an opportunity to think, express personal experiences, and exchange feelings.

Of particular note in Gyumri was the workshop entitled “Introduction of Cross-Stamps and Master Classes,” which was conducted by Lebanese-Armenian repatriate Narine Poladian.

On July 8, the forum participants visited Lori.

During the two days, they got acquainted with the Haghpat and Sanahin monastery complexes and the Hovhannes Tumanyan house-museum located in the village of Dsegh.

On July 9, the destination was Haghartsin, after which Dilijan and Lake Sevan (Sevanavank).

On July 10, the forum participants returned to Yerevan and their first place of visit was the “Yerablur” military pantheon, where they paid their respects to the heroes of the liberation struggle of Artsakh, the martyrs of the four-day wars of 2016 and the 44-day wars of 2020.

Then, in Tsitsernakaberd, the young people paid their respects to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

They also got acquainted with the Genocide Museum, with its huge collection.

On the same day, a visit was also made to the Mother Cathedral of Etchmiadzin.

In the afternoon, the forum participants met with Sevan Gabakyan, the director of “Perth Wright Armenia”, who gave a brief introduction to the program’s goal, working methods and facilities.

On July 11, the young people of the Student Assembly visited the Komitas Museum and Pantheon, got acquainted with Komitas’ life, activities, the wealth he left behind, the items that belonged to him and are preserved in the museum.

Then they visited Charents Arch, Garni, Symphony of Stones and Geghard.

On July 12, at the initiative of the Yerevan office of Hamazkayin, the feast of the Transfiguration of Christ, Vardavar, was celebrated in the St.

Mesrop Mashtots Church in Oshakan.

The event was attended by the youth of the Student Union, who first of all paid their respects to the tomb of Mesrop Mashtots in Oshakan.

Vazgen Hovhannisyan, sent his blessing and best wishes to the youth, after which Roman Khnkoyan, the soloist of the National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet of Armenia, performed a series of spiritual songs.

The following also gave speeches at the same event: Director of the Yerevan Office of Hamazkayin Ruzan Arakelyan, member of the Central Executive Committee of Hamazkayin Artashes Shahbazian, Hamazkayin M.

Former director of Arslanian Djemaran Tigran Jinbashian and writer Artavazd Nazarian, who emphasized the importance of preserving Mashtotsian values and the national identity of Diaspora Armenian youth.

On the same day, in the afternoon, the forum participants visited St.

Karmravor Church and paid tribute to the memory of the great Armenian writer Kevork Emin, who is buried in the church yard.

Arevik Gabrielian, a member of the Central Executive Committee of Hamazkayin, addressed her heartfelt words to the youth near the writer’s grave.

Later, upon returning to Yerevan, the evening was marked by a performance by the Hamazkayin “Sos Sargsyan” State Theater, where the forum participants enjoyed the play “The Miracle of Saint Anthony”.

On Monday, July 13, a visit was made to Tsaghkadzor, where, in addition to the wonders of nature, the forum participants enjoyed the cable car.

Then, continuing the tradition of previous years, this year too, the participants of the Hamazkayin student gathering visited the Our Lady of Armenia camp in Tsaghkadzor, where they were hosted by the children of the camp, with whom they had an afternoon program that included: lunch, social time, music and dance.

The love and smile of each child, the hours the students spent with them left a unique mark on each one.

On July 14, the visits were to the southern regions of Armenia.

After visiting Khor Virap, the forum participants visited Tatev Monastery, Harsnadzor Observatory, Noravank and Areni.

The day of July 15 began with a visit to Yerevan State University.

Arman Yeghiazaryan, the head of the university’s Department of Diaspora Studies, introduced the forum participants to the departments of the State University and the university in general.

The second half of the same day was devoted to sports.

Indeed, they visited the “Grand Sport” sports complex located in Yerevan, where they were greeted by the person in charge of the complex and were introduced to the various departments of the sports complex.

After playing basketball for about an hour, the forum participants had dinner in the “Grand Sport” cafeteria.

On the morning of July 16, the forum participants visited the Matenadaran, where they were introduced to its various departments.

On the same day, in the afternoon, the participants of the Student Gathering met with writer, teacher, and public figure Haroutiu Berberian and Hamazkayin Central Executive Committee member Garo Manjikian at the Yerevan office of Hamazkayin.

Haroutiu Berberian spoke about the general activities of Hamazkayin, encouraging the youth to get to know Hamazkayin better and to contribute to its worldwide activities.

Berberian presented episodes from his personal experience to the youth, especially from his years of activity in Hamazkayin.

Then, Garo Manjikian delivered his heartfelt speech to the youth, emphasizing the importance of the forum program and emphasizing that every young Armenian should have the opportunity to participate in such a program, calling on the youth to also become “ambassadors” of Hamazkayin to preach about this program and to carry out appropriate propaganda.

During the 13 days of the forum, Armenian students will have the opportunity to meet with Armenian intellectuals, political and public figures, listen to lectures on historical and cultural topics, and discuss various issues of concern to contemporary Armenian youth.

Most importantly, they will have the opportunity to interact with young people from different countries of the Diaspora, with different cultures and lifestyles, who have arrived in Armenia, to get acquainted, and to think together about issues of concern to Armenian youth.
