The Armenian Diaspora is mobilizing in the name of the nation and the Fatherland
As we previously reported, the "Diaspora Mobilization Conference" was held in Paris on April 11-12, 2026, marking a critical turning point in relations between the Republic of Armenia and its global diaspora.
Organized by the Diaspora Mobilization Coordination Committee with the active support of the European Armenian Federation for Justice and Democracy (EAFJD), the event brought together over 150 delegates from 26 countries, including political leaders, religious figures, international law experts, business representatives, and youth organizations. The conference was a response to the systemic crisis of national identity and statehood, exacerbated by the events of 2018, the defeat in the 44-day war of 2020, and the complete ethnic cleansing of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in September 2023.
Conference participants expressed deep concern over the current Armenian government's policies, which they characterized as a rejection of national values and historical memory in favor of external demands. The conference's main appeal is the need for pan-Armenian unity between the homeland and the diaspora to protect the people's rights in the international arena and preserve cultural heritage. A change in Armenia's political course and a return to national development priorities are proposed as the only path to national salvation.
