Not everything can be turned into PR, the issue of prisoners of war is even more so.

Ամէն բան չէ, որ կրնայ վերածուիլ PR-ի, գերիներու հարցը առաւել եւս։

This morning, images were circulated from Zvartnots Airport, where it can be seen how one of the deputies of the ruling force proudly welcomed the wife of one of the prisoners who had returned to the Motherland.

Առաւօտեան պատկերներ տարածուեցան Զուարթնոց օդակայանէն, ուր կ'երեւի թէ ինչպէս է իշխող ուժի պատգամաւորներէն մէկը մեծ շուքով դիմաւորել Հայրենիք վերադարձած գերիներէն մէկուն կինը։

In general, representatives of the ruling power have been busy since yesterday with the process of securing likes at the expense of the feelings of the captives and their relatives.

Ընդհանրապէս, իշխող ուժի ներկայացուցիչները երէկուընէ լծուած են գերիներուն ու անոնց հարազատներուն զգացումներուն հաշուոյն լայքեր ապահովելու գործընթացին։

And so that you can imagine the difference, let me just say that the ARF Dashnaktsutyun took care of all the issues regarding the arrival of Viken Eoljekjian’s wife to Armenia. The ticket was bought by friends from the ARF structure in Lebanon, Ishkhan Saghatelyan took care of her stay in Armenia, and one of the ARF members went to meet her at the airport.

THE REALITY

The article by ARF member Christine Vardanyan is PR par excellence! While the 135-year-old pioneer of propaganda, the representative of the aforementioned organization, in the course of his rant, failed to notice that the paragraph at the end of the article, supposedly talking about their modesty, contradicts what was stated above... By the way, I would like to mention that the unscrupulous reader who read the news of the release of this Viken on the Facebook page of the Lebanese branch of the same organization would have the impression that the dear friends of the aforementioned organization had some role in the liberation of the captured Armenian... A few days ago, there was a hint leading to a similar conclusion in one of the official organs of the given organization.

ՀՅԴ-ի անդամ՝ Քրիստինէ Վարդանեանի գրութիւնը ինքնին PR է par excellence! Մինչ 135-ամեայ փրոփականտի ռահվիրա՝ նշեալ կազմակերպութեան ներկայացուցիչը իր թափած մաղձին ընթացքին, ուշադրութենէն վրիպած է, որ գրութեան վերջին՝ իբր թէ իրենց համեստութեան մասին խօսող պարբերութիւնը, կը հակասէ աւելի վերեւը բարձրաձայնուածին... Hayk Sargsyan (with whom I do not share his political orientation at all, but who, in my opinion, differs from the deputies who only sit in the National Assembly to press buttons with his attitudes and working style) has given a full explanation to the media about his greeting of Mrs. Linda, and I am not the one who should justify or defend him.

While it is known to everyone that the relationship of the NA CP deputy Hayk Sargsyan with the representatives of the government is lukewarm these days, the organization playing the opposition, instead of taking him into its arms, "converting" him or being guided by the Christian biblical parable of the "Prodigal Son", has similar repulsive and insulting expressions towards him.

Մինչ բոլորին յայտնի է, թէ ԱԺ ՔՊ-ական պատգամաւոր Հայկ Սարգսեանի յարաբերութիւնը այս օրերուն գաղջ է իշխանութեան ներկայացուցիչներուն հետ, ընդդիմութիւն խաղացող կազմակերպութիւնը՝ փոխանակ իր գիրկին մէջ առնելու, «դարձի բերելու» զինք կամ «Անառակ որդի» քրիստոնէաշունչ առակով առաջնորդուելու, նմանատիպ վանողական եւ վիրաւորական արտայայտութիւններ կ'ունենայ անոր հանդէպ։

May God grant that the other elements that make up the opposition be more farsighted and mature and less self-centered and vindictive (something that, unfortunately, I highly doubt). Otherwise, I will sadly say that Nicholas and Nicholasism will remain forever and, in relation to that, eternal...:
