“The deadline for conditional early release had come, and the head of the penitentiary had applied to the Court of First Instance on this issue, but they rejected it. Based on this, we appealed to the Court of Appeals, where it was decided to satisfy the head of the penitentiary and conditionally release Ashot Minasyan,” the lawyer said.

Ashot Minasyan, the commander of the “Sisakan” squad, “Ashot Yerkat”, was sentenced to two years in prison on October 16, 2025. He was accused of illegally acquiring, transporting and storing firearms, ammunition, and explosives.
