Candidates for Prime Minister of Armenia – from a former Kenyan police officer to the former president of Artsakh and Armenia

A total of 2,128 candidates have applied for parliamentary seats, including scientists, entrepreneurs, former and current employees of various organizations, figures who led two Armenian states, the unemployed, and even a former deputy chief of police in Kenya and a former police officer imprisoned in the United States.

Заявку на участие в борьбе за депутатские мандаты подали 2128 кандидатов, среди них — ученые, предприниматели, бывшие и действующие сотрудники различных структур, деятели, руководившие двумя армянскими государствами, безработные и даже бывший заместитель начальника полиции Кении и бывший полицейский, заключенный в американской тюрьме.

The largest electoral lists submitted to the Central Electoral Commission were the Civil Contract party (293 candidates), the Armenia bloc (217 candidates), the Strong Armenia bloc (202 candidates), and Prosperous Armenia (107 candidates). The Central Electoral Commission registered all 19 political forces. Their ballot numbers were assigned by lottery.

Самые большие избирательные списки в Центральную избирательную комиссию представили «Гражданский договор» — 293 кандидата, блок «Армения» — 217 кандидатов, блок «Сильная Армения» — 202 кандидата и «Процветающая Армения» — 107 кандидатов. Центральная избирательная комиссия зарегистрировала все 19 политических сил. Жеребьевкой были распределены их номера в избирательных бюллетенях.
