Iraq resumes cargo transportation in the Persian Gulf after more than 50 years

The Iraqi National Shipping Company will resume regular commercial shipping between ports in the Persian Gulf in mid-October, according to the country's Transport Ministry, after a more than 50-year hiatus in the region.
