Russian activist sentenced to 6 years in prison for 'justifying' terrorism

A Russian court has sentenced Perm resident and activist Leonid Melekhin, who was deported from the United States in July 2025, to six years in prison on charges of "justifying" terrorism, Mediazona reported.
