The book "Letters from Paradise" about Artsakh was presented in Paris

The book was co-authored by Artsakh poet and writer Hermine Avagian and philosopher, producer of the “Christians of the East in France Culture” program Ulysses Manges. It was published in 2026 by Newmag.

Գիրքը համատեղ հեղինակել են արցախցի բանաստեղծ եւ գրող Հերմինէ Աւագեանը եւ փիլիսոփայ, «Արեւելքի քրիստոնեաները France Culture-ում» հաղորդաշարի պրոդիւսեր Ուլիս Մանժեսը։ Այն 2026 թւականին հրատարակել է Newmag-ը։

The event, jointly organized by La Guilde and the Artsakh Support Association, entitled “Artsakh, My Homeland,” brought together representatives of political, intellectual, and literary circles.

La Guilde-ի եւ Արցախի աջակցութեան ասոցիացիայի համատեղ կազմակերպած միջոցառումը, որը կրում էր «Արցախը՝ իմ հայրենիք» խորագիրը, համախմբել է քաղաքական, մտաւորական եւ գրական շրջանակների ներկայացուցիչների։

The evening touched on the themes of homeland, memory, loss, and return. Hermine Avagian tells about her life, Artsakh, and the village of Ashan through letters. Literature becomes a means of returning to the homeland for him when physical return is no longer possible.

Երեկոյի ընթացքում անդրադարձ է կատարւել հայրենիքի, յիշողութեան, կորստի եւ վերադարձի թեմաներին։ Հերմինէ Աւագեանը նամակների միջոցով պատմում է իր կեանքի, Արցախի եւ Աշա՛ն գիւղի մասին։ Գրականութիւնը նրա համար դառնում է հայրենիք վերադառնալու միջոց, երբ ֆիզիկական վերադարձն այլեւս հնարաւոր չէ։

The event also emphasized the importance of preserving the cultural and historical memory of Artsakh, especially after the forced deportation of more than 120 thousand Artsakh Armenians in September 2023.

Միջոցառման ընթացքում ընդգծւել է նաեւ Արցախի մշակութային եւ պատմական յիշողութեան պահպանման կարեւորութիւնը՝ յատկապէս 2023 թւականի սեպտեմբերին աւելի քան 120 հազար արցախահայերի բռնի տեղահանութիւնից յետոյ։

The book is presented as an attempt to preserve memory and make the voice of the forcibly displaced Artsakh Armenians heard.

Գիրքը ներկայացւում է որպէս յիշողութիւնը պահպանելու եւ բռնի տեղահանւած արցախահայութեան ձայնը լսելի դարձնելու փորձ։

The event was attended by the President of the Hauts-de-France region, Xavier Bertrand, President of the Friendship Circle with Artsakh in the French Senate, Emmanuel Mandon, President of the Friendship Circle with Armenia in the French Senate, Senator Gilbert-Luc Devinaz, General Director of L’Œuvre d’Orient, Monsignor Hugues de Voymont, former General Director of Orient-Urban, Monsignor Pascal Golnish, ARF Bureau member, Co-Chairman of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations in France, Mourad Papazian, and representative of the Republic of Artsakh, Hovhannes Gevorgyan.

Միջոցառմանը ներկայ էին Hauts-de-France տարածաշրջանի նախագահ Քսաւէյ Բերտրանը, Ֆրանսիայի Սենատում Արցախի հետ բարեկամութեան շրջանակի նախագահ Էմանուէլ Մանդոնը, Ֆրանսիայի Սենատում Հայաստանի հետ բարեկամութեան շրջանակի նախագահ, սենատոր Ժիլբեր-Լիւկ Դեւինազը, L’Œuvre d’Orient-ի գլխաւոր տնօրէն Մոնսէնեոր Հիւգ դը Վուայմոնը, Orient-Urban-ի նախկին գլխաւոր տնօրէն Մոնսէնեոր Պասկալ Գոլնիշը, ՀՅԴ Բիւրոյի անդամ, Ֆրանսիայի հայկական կազմակերպութիւնների համակարգող խորհրդի համանախագահ Մուրադ Փափազեանը եւ Արցախի Հանրապետութեան ներկայացուցիչ Յովհաննէս Գէորգեանը։
