The article False allegations of "occupation" of public buildings was first published in the Armenian newspaper Vahan.

Turning issues of the protection and use of church property into personal accusations against the Catholicos of All Armenians and presenting the buildings and facilities provided to the Primate See as the personal property of the Armenian Patriarch is an obvious manipulation and a shameful lie. The Director of the Information System of the Primate See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Father Esai Artenyan, wrote about this on his Facebook page.
He, in particular, noted: “False allegations of “occupying” public buildings and turning them into ruins or businesses” and the publication of photographs of these buildings do not give anyone the right to make obviously false and unfounded accusations.
Statements about the protection of children’s educational interests are also unconvincing when the authorities themselves hinder initiatives that serve these interests. A telling example of this is the creation of a new educational institution under the “Tumo Center” program initiated by the Mother See. This initiative, aimed at providing modern education to about 2,500 children and adolescents, is facing artificial obstacles created by local authorities.
The large-scale construction and restoration works carried out during the reign of the Armenian Patriarch, aimed at preserving and enriching the national spiritual and cultural heritage, are eloquent and visible evidence of the consistent efforts of the Church. The silence on these realities distorts reality and misleads the public.”
