The International Christian Solidarity Organization (CSI) has criticized the Armenian government’s report on the Armenian Apostolic Church, accusing the administration of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of interfering in the church’s internal affairs and waging a campaign to remove Catholicos Karekin II.
Международната организация за Християнска солидарост (CSI) критикува доклада на арменското правителство за Арменската апостолическа църква, обвинявайки администрацията на премиера Никол Пашинян в намеса във вътрешните работи на църквата и водене на кампания за отстраняване на католикос Карекин II.
The Swiss Christian Human Rights Organization said in a statement on September 28 that it rejected the government report “in its entirety,” challenging both the way it was prepared and the evidence used to support its conclusions. CSI called on the government to withdraw the document and abandon attempts to replace the head of the church.
