Iran is modernizing the border crossing to Armenia: what agreement has been reached?

A delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the RA Kristine Ghalechyan participated in the groundbreaking ceremony of the project for the reconstruction of the Norduz checkpoint on the Armenia-Iran border.

ՀՀ տարածքային կառավարման եւ ենթակառուցւածքների նախարարի տեղակալ Քրիստինէ Ղալեչեանի գլխաւորութեամբ պատւիրակութիւնը մասնակցել է Հայաստան-Իրան սահմանի «Նորդուզ» անցակէտի վերակառուցման նախագծի հիմնարկէքի արարողութեանը։

It is noted that the Armenian delegation was also attended by the Deputy Executive Director of the Road Department Foundation Arman Khachatryan, and the Iranian side was represented by the Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development Reza Akbari.

Նշւում է, որ հայկական պատւիրակութիւնում եղել է նաեւ «Ճանապարհային դեպարտամենտ» հիմնադրամի գործադիր տնօրէնի տեղակալ Արման Խաչատրեանը, իսկ իրանական կողմից ճանապարհների եւ քաղաքաշինութեան նախարարի տեղակալ Ռեզա Աքբարին։

“The parties discussed mechanisms for re-equipping border infrastructure and increasing cargo transportation volumes,” the statement said.

«Կողմերը քննարկել են սահմանային ենթակառուցւածքների վերազինման, բեռնափոխադրումների ծաւալների մեծացման մեխանիզմները»,- ասւած է հաղորդագրութիւնում:

Deputy Ministers Ghalechian and Akbari reached a practical agreement to resolve existing obstacles in the field of bilateral cargo transportation.

Փոխնախարարներ Ղալեչեանը եւ Աքբարին գործնական պայմանաւորւածութիւն են ձեռք բերել կարգաւորել երկկողմ բեռնափոխադրումների ոլորտում առկայ խոչընդոտները:
