An investigative committee has been established in the National Assembly to investigate the church crisis.

The RA NA Speaker has issued a statement on the establishment of an NA investigative commission.

ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահը հայտարարություն է տարածել ԱԺ քննիչ հանձնաժողով ստեղծելու մասին։

In accordance with Part 1 of Article 20 and Part 2 of Part 5 of the Constitutional Law “On the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly”, at the request of at least one quarter of the total number of deputies, in order to study the crisis that has arisen in the church as a result of the activities of a number of clergymen of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church and the resulting failure to fulfill the exclusive mission of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church in the spiritual life of the Armenian people, the development of its national culture and the preservation of national identity, an investigative commission of the National Assembly has been established by force of law.

«Ազգային ժողովի կանոնակարգ» սահմանադրական օրենքի 20-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասի և 5-րդ մասի 2-րդ կետի համաձայն, պատգամավորների ընդհանուր թվի առնվազն մեկ քառորդի պահանջով, Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու մի շարք հոգևորականների գործունեության արդյունքում եկեղեցում առաջացած ճգնաժամի և դրա արդյունքում հայ ժողովրդի հոգևոր կյանքում, նրա ազգային մշակույթի զարգացման և ազգային ինքնության պահպանման գործում Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու բացառիկ առաքելության չկատարման խնդիրներն ուսումնասիրելու նպատակով, իրավունքի ուժով ստեղծվել է Ազգային ժողովի քննիչ հանձնաժողով։

In accordance with Part 6 of Article 20 of the Constitutional Law “On the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly”, the draft decision of the National Assembly defining the number of members of the investigative commission will be discussed at the regular session of the National Assembly.

«Ազգային ժողովի կանոնակարգ» սահմանադրական օրենքի 20-րդ հոդվածի 6-րդ մասի համաձայն՝ քննիչ հանձնաժողովի անդամների թիվը սահմանող Ազգային ժողովի որոշման նախագիծը կքննարկվի Ազգային ժողովի հերթական նիստում։
