Armenia-Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Economic Forum Dedicated to the Agri-Food Sector and Agrotourism Held in Lyon

On October 1, the second Armenia-Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes economic forum dedicated to the agri-food sector and agrotourism was held in Lyon. The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in France reports this.

Հոկտեմբերի 1-ին Լիոնում տեղի ունեցավ Հայաստան–Օվերն-Ռոն-Ալպ երկրորդ տնտեսական համաժողովը՝ նվիրված ագրոպարենային ոլորտին և ագրոտուրիզմին։ Այդ մասին տեղեկացնում է Ֆրանսիայում ՀՀ դեսպանությունը:

The opening speech at the forum was delivered by Fabrice Pancouk, President of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, and Arman Khojoyan, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.

Համաժողովին բացման խոսքով հանդես եկան Օվերն-Ռոն-Ալպ ռեգիոնի նախագահ Ֆաբրիս Պանկուկը և ՀՀ էկոնոմիկայի նախարարի տեղակալ Արման Խոջոյանը։

“Fabrice Pancouk emphasized the importance of developing decentralized cooperation with Armenia, highlighting the effective ties formed with the Syunik region, as well as the partnerships established between the seven communities of the two regions. He also highlighted the opening of the Lyon branch of the France-Armenia Chamber of Commerce as an important platform for strengthening business ties and forming new partnerships.

«Ֆաբրիս Պանկուկն ընդգծեց Հայաստանի հետ ապակենտրոնացված համագործակցության զարգացման կարևորությունը՝ առանձնացնելով Սյունիքի մարզի հետ ձևավորված արդյունավետ կապերը, ինչպես նաև երկու տարածաշրջանների յոթական համայնքների միջև հաստատված գործընկերությունները։ Նա կարևորեց նաև Ֆրանսիա–Հայաստան առևտրի պալատի Լիոնի մասնաճյուղի բացումը որպես գործարար կապերի ամրապնդման և նոր գործընկերությունների ձևավորման կարևոր հարթակ։

Arman Khojoyan presented Armenia’s economic diversification policy, steps taken to expand trade and economic ties with European markets, as well as achievements recorded in the agricultural sector and prospects for export development.

Արման Խոջոյանը ներկայացրեց Հայաստանի տնտեսական դիվերսիֆիկացման քաղաքականությունը, եվրոպական շուկաների հետ առևտրատնտեսական կապերի ընդլայնմանն ուղղված քայլերը, ինչպես նաև գյուղատնտեսության ոլորտում արձանագրված ձեռքբերումներն ու արտահանման զարգացման հեռանկարները։

The final speeches were delivered by the Armenian Ambassador to France Arman Khachatryan and the French Ambassador to Armenia Florent Escudier. Ambassador Khachatryan emphasized that with the establishment of a strategic partnership between Armenia and France, bilateral relations have entered a new stage, in which decentralized cooperation is of particular importance. He highlighted the potential for cooperation in the fields of agriculture, water resources, infrastructure, high technologies, innovation and tourism, especially highlighting the opportunities of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

Եզրափակիչ ելույթներով հանդես եկան Ֆրանսիայում Հայաստանի դեսպան Արման Խաչատրյանը և Հայաստանում Ֆրանսիայի դեսպան Ֆլորան Էսկյուդիեն։ Դեսպան Խաչատրյանն ընդգծեց, որ Հայաստանի և Ֆրանսիայի միջև ռազմավարական գործընկերության հաստատմամբ երկկողմ հարաբերությունները թևակոխել են նոր փուլ, որում առանձնահատուկ նշանակություն ունի ապակենտրոնացված համագործակցությունը։ Նա կարևորեց գյուղատնտեսության, ջրային ռեսուրսների, ենթակառուցվածքների, բարձր տեխնոլոգիաների, նորարարության և զբոսաշրջության ոլորտներում համագործակցության ներուժը՝ հատուկ ընդգծելով Օվերն-Ռոն-Ալպ ռեգիոնի հնարավորությունները։

Representatives of “Enterprise Armenia” and the Armenian Viticulture and Winemaking Foundation also participated in the conference from the Armenian side.

Համաժողովին հայկական կողմից մասնակցում էին նաև «Էնթերփրայզ Արմենիա»-ի և Հայաստանի խաղողագործության և գինեգործության հիմնադրամի ներկայացուցիչները։

The conference was attended by more than 200 participants, including representatives of state and local government bodies, business circles, sectoral organizations, and French-Armenian structures of both countries.

Համաժողովին ներկա էին ավելի քան 200 մասնակից՝ երկու երկրների պետական և տեղական ինքնակառավարման մարմինների, գործարար շրջանակների, ոլորտային կազմակերպությունների և ֆրանսահայ կառույցների ներկայացուցիչներ։

Within the framework of the event, the Armenian delegation had a bilateral meeting with Fabrice Pancouc, President of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region,” the embassy reports.
