Ijevan community head, Artur Chagharyan, who heads the electoral list of the "Civil Contract" party in the local government elections, has referred to his declaration submitted to the Corruption Prevention Commission.

According to Chagharyan, there are errors in his declaration submitted to the commission regarding the number of real estate properties.

"In the automated system, 1 unit of property (residential house) belonging to me under the right of joint ownership in the village of Berkaber was reflected as 5 units of property. In fact, the number of properties owned by me under sole and joint ownership is not 9, but 5. They are: 1 apartment in the city of Ijevan, which has belonged to our family since the Soviet years. 2 plots of land in the city of Ijevan, which I bought before I became the mayor. 2 residential houses in the village of Berkaber, one of which my wife inherited from her parents,” the mayor of Ijevan wrote on his Facebook page.

«Ինքնաշխատ համակարգում Բերքաբեր գյուղում համատեղ սեփականության իրավունքով ինձ պատկանող 1 միավոր գույքը (բնակելի տուն) արտացոլվել է որպես 5 միավոր գույք։ Իրականում միանձնյա և համատեղ սեփականության իրավունքով ինձ պատկանող գույքերի քանակը ոչ թե 9 է, այլ 5։ Դրանք են` 1 բնակարան Իջևան քաղաքում, որը մեր ընտանիքին է պատկանել դեռևս խորհրդային տարիներից։ 2 հողամաս Իջևան քաղաքում, որոնք գնել եմ նախքան համայնքապետ լինելը։ 2 բնակելի տուն Բերքաբեր գյուղում, որոնցից մեկը կինս ժառանգություն է ստացել իր ծնողներից»,- ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է Իջևանի համայնքապետը:
