An investigative committee has been established in the National Assembly to study the crisis in the Armenian Apostolic Church.

According to the statement of the NA Speaker, an investigative commission has been established by force of law at the request of at least one quarter of the total number of deputies. It will study the crisis that has arisen in the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church as a result of the activities of a number of clergy and the problems of the failure to fulfill the mission of the church as a result of this.

ԱԺ նախագահի հայտարարության համաձայն՝ պատգամավորների ընդհանուր թվի առնվազն մեկ քառորդի պահանջով իրավունքի ուժով ստեղծվել է քննիչ հանձնաժողով։ Այն կուսումնասիրի մի շարք հոգևորականների գործունեության արդյունքում Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցում առաջացած ճգնաժամը և դրա հետևանքով եկեղեցու առաքելության չկատարման խնդիրները։

ԱԺ նախագահի տարածած հայտարարությունը՝ ստորև․

In accordance with Part 1 of Article 20 and Point 2 of Part 5 of the Constitutional Law “Regulations of the National Assembly”, at the request of at least one quarter of the total number of deputies, an investigative commission has been established by force of law to study the crisis that has arisen in the church as a result of the activities of a number of clergy of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church and the problems of the failure to fulfill the exclusive mission of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church in the spiritual life of the Armenian people, the development of its national culture and the preservation of its national identity.

«Ազգային ժողովի կանոնակարգ» սահմանադրական օրենքի 20-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասի և 5-րդ մասի 2-րդ կետի համաձայն, պատգամավորների ընդհանուր թվի առնվազն մեկ քառորդի պահանջով, Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու մի շարք հոգևորականների գործունեության արդյունքում եկեղեցում առաջացած ճգնաժամի և դրա արդյունքում հայ ժողովրդի հոգևոր կյանքում, նրա ազգային մշակույթի զարգացման և ազգային ինքնության պահպանման գործում Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու բացառիկ առաքելության չկատարման խնդիրներն ուսումնասիրելու նպատակով, իրավունքի ուժով ստեղծվել է Ազգային ժողովի քննիչ հանձնաժողով։

In accordance with Part 6 of Article 20 of the Constitutional Law “On the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly”, the draft resolution of the National Assembly defining the number of members of the investigative commission will be discussed at the regular session of the National Assembly.”
