Azerbaijani media outlets are publishing new details about the disappearance of serviceman Nasimi Musayev. According to his relatives, a serious incident occurred in the military unit before the serviceman disappeared, during which Musayev had problems with contract soldiers and a cafeteria employee.

One of the relatives claims that during the investigation of the incident, several servicemen reported in the presence of investigators that some contract soldiers were allegedly under the influence of alcohol on the day of the incident. This information has not been officially confirmed.

Musayev's family also doubts the version that he voluntarily left the military unit. According to the relatives, for several days they were unable to receive clear information about his whereabouts from the command of the military unit and appealed to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov.

The Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan reported that search operations were launched on September 26 due to Musayev's absence from the place of service, and as a result of the investigation, grounds were found to believe that he voluntarily left the military unit. A criminal case has been opened against him. Later, it was confirmed that Musayev is in Armenia and was detained by Armenian law enforcement officers.
