US President Donald Trump has said he may ask European countries to release some of their diesel reserves. He said this in a conversation with reporters in Texas, the video of which was released by the White House.

Trump was asked whether he could ask European countries to take such a step in order to reduce the price of diesel fuel.

“Maybe we should do something like that. They have some diesel, but the price is coming down. All prices are coming down,” the US president said.
