In other words, the opinion of none of them was heard throughout the entire course of these proceedings, from the preliminary investigation to the trial. They say that the accusation states that the authority of the court has decreased, but no one has made such measurements of what authority it had before my interviews and after my interviews. I think that there is no need to look for anything legal here, it is absolutely political," said Edgar Ghazaryan, a deputy of the NA "Strong Armenia" faction, in a conversation with reporters after the end of the court hearing in his case.

Judge Satenik Andreasyan found Edgar Ghazaryan guilty and sentenced him to two years in prison. The sentence will not be conditionally applied. A one-year probation period was assigned. Until the verdict comes into force, Edgar Ghazaryan will be placed under administrative supervision.

In December, the prosecutor requested the case materials, got acquainted with the case materials, did not press charges, nothing changed. After that, they did not get acquainted with any new materials for two months, in February they decided to press charges against me.”
