During a briefing with journalists, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan touched upon the possible impact of the US aviation sanctions on Iran, the planned legislative changes in the Armenian Apostolic Church, and the state holiday commemorating the victims.

Touching upon the new sanctions imposed by the United States on Iran and the possible problems with flights by Iranian airlines to Armenia, the Prime Minister noted that the Government is currently studying the sanctions package.

Անդրադառնալով Իրանի նկատմամբ Միացյալ Նահանգների կողմից կիրառված նոր պատժամիջոցներին և դեպի Հայաստան իրանական ավիաընկերությունների թռիչքների հնարավոր խնդիրներին՝ վարչապետը նշեց, որ Կառավարությունը ներկայումս ուսումնասիրում է պատժամիջոցների փաթեթը:

“We say that, especially in the case of our friendly countries, we will do everything possible to be friendly, but there is a line that we ourselves cannot cross: it is the risk that Armenia itself may find itself under sanctions,” he noted.

«Մենք ասում ենք՝ հատկապես մեր բարեկամ երկրների պարագայում մենք մաքսիմալ ամեն ինչ կանենք, որպեսզի լինենք բարեկամական, բայց մի գիծ կա, որը մենք ինքներս չենք կարող անցնել․ դա այն ռիսկն է, որ Հայաստանը ինքը կարող է հայտնվել սանկցիաների տակ»,-նշեց նա:

According to Pashinyan, Armenia will remain in a friendly logic until there is no risk of being under sanctions, and such a risk
