Discussion of the legislative blueprint initiated by Anna Yakyan was postponed for two months in the EC

She informed that October 1 is celebrated in the Republic of Armenia as the National Day of Combating Domestic Violence. “On this day, all victims are remembered and reminded that talking about violence is not shameful.”

Նա տեղեկացրեց՝ հոկտեմբերի 1-ը ՀՀ-ում նշվում է որպես Ընտանեկան բռնության դեմ պայքարի ազգային օր․ «Այս օրը հիշում են բոլոր զոհերին և հիշեցնում, որ բռնության մասին խոսելն ամոթ չէ»։

Zaruhi Batoyan proposed postponing the discussion of the legislative package on amendments to the “Law on the Prevention of Domestic and Domestic Violence and the Protection of Persons Subjected to Domestic and Domestic Violence” included in the session’s agenda, arguing that the package is large and additional time will be required. The members of the committee were in favor.

Զարուհի Բաթոյանն առաջարկեց հետաձգել նիստի օրակարգում ընդգրկված «Ընտանեկան ու կենցաղային բռնության կանխարգելման և ընտանեկան ու կենցաղային բռնության ենթարկված անձանց պաշտպանության օրենքում» փոփոխություններ կատարելու օրենսդրական փաթեթի քննարկումը՝ պատճառաբանելով, որ փաթեթը մեծ է, և լրացուցիչ ժամանակ կպահանջվի։ Հանձնաժողովի անդամները կողմ էին։

Հանձնաժողովի նախագահ Լիլիթ Գալստյանը հայտարարեց, որ այսպիսով` օրենսդրական փաթեթի քննարկումը հետաձգվում է երկու ամսով։

It should be noted that the draft of these amendments was initiated by the Prime Minister’s wife, Anna Hakobyan.
