Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qutaiba Katish, met on Monday with a delegation from the US Department of State, led by Andrew Kent, and discussed issues of strengthening bilateral relations between Syria and the United States.
Արտաքին Գործոց Նախարարութեան միջազգային գործակցութեան վարչութեան տնօրէն Քութայպա Քատիշ Երկուշաբթի, հանդիպում ունեցաւ ԱՄՆ-ի Արտաքին Գործոց Նախարարութեան պատուիրակութեան մը հետ՝ գլխաւորութեամբ Անտրու Քենթի, եւ քննարկեց Սուրիոյ եւ Միացեալ Նահանգներու միջեւ երկկողմ յարաբերութիւններու ամրապնդման հարցերը։
During the meeting, the key role of the United States in supporting the process of reconstruction and stabilization in Syria was emphasized, with the aim of moving from dialogue to a constructive and practical partnership.
Հանդիպման ընթացքին ընդգծուեցաւ Միացեալ Նահանգներու առանցքային դերը Սուրիոյ վերականգնումի եւ կայունութեան ընթացքին աջակցելու իմաստով՝ երկխօսութենէն դէպի կառուցային եւ գործնական գործընկերութիւն անցնելու նպատակով։
The parties also discussed the “Syria without Camps” initiative, as one of the priorities of the current phase, with the participation of representatives of the relevant ministries.
Կողմերը քննարկեցին նաեւ «Սուրիան՝ առանց ճամբարներու» նախաձեռնութիւնը՝ իբրեւ ընթացիկ փուլի առաջնահերթութիւններէն մէկը, պատկան նախարարութիւններու ներկայացուցիչներու մասնակցութեամբ։
