Azerbaijan denies accusations of using its territory against Iran

Mustafayev called Iran a friendly and brotherly country of Azerbaijan. He also called on the Islamic Republic to contribute to the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Rezaei stated that Iran is ready to contribute to the peace process in the South Caucasus.

Commenting on the situation in the Middle East, he stated that the US and Israeli attack on Iran contradicts international law, and also emphasized that “Iran has shown worthy resistance in this war.”

Մեկնաբանելով Մերձավոր Արևելքում ստեղծված իրավիճակը՝ նա հայտարարել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ի և Իսրայելի հարձակումը Իրանի վրա հակասում է միջազգային իրավունքին, նաև ընդգծել է, որ «Իրանն արժանի դիմադրություն է ցույց տվել այս պատերազմում»։

"During the meeting, the parties paid special attention to the economic projects agreed between the two countries, including the creation of the Araz Corridor, cooperation in the water resources and energy sectors, border security, as well as the fight against smuggling of goods and drugs," the statement emphasizes.
