The Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia met with representatives of the NGO "Shaboyan Non-Formal Youth Platform"

The meeting was attended by the founder of the organization Mane Shaboyan and representative Lilit Ghazaryan, who were participants in the “Law at the Frontline of Human Rights Protection” project initiated by the Human Rights Defender.

Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել են կազմակերպության հիմնադիր Մանե Շաբոյանը և ներկայացուցիչ Լիլիթ Ղազարյանը, ովքեր Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի նախաձեռնած «Օրն իրավունքների պաշտպանության առաջնագծում» նախագծի մասնակիցներ են եղել։

Members of the public organization presented to the Human Rights Defender the activities of the youth public organization, the initiatives planned in the near future, as well as possible directions for further cooperation with the Human Rights Defender institution.

Հասարակական կազմակերպության անդամները Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանին ներկայացրել են երիտասարդական հասարակական կազմակերպության գործունեությունը, առաջիկայում նախատեսվող նախաձեռնությունները, ինչպես նաև ՄԻՊ հաստատության հետ հետագա համագործակցության հնարավոր ուղղությունները։

During the meeting, the young people asked the Human Rights Defender questions about the activities of the Human Rights Defender institution, the challenges in the field of human rights protection, the mechanisms for addressing them, and a number of other issues.

Հանդիպման ընթացքում երիտասարդները Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանին ուղղել են հարցեր ՄԻՊ հաստատության գործունեության, մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության ոլորտում առկա մարտահրավերների, դրանց հասցեավորման մեխանիզմների և մի շարք այլ հարցերի վերաբերյալ։

Anahit Manasyan highly appreciated the initiative of the young people, emphasizing that she is especially happy to see the participants of the “Law at the Frontline of Human Rights Protection” project already coming up with their own initiatives and public activities.

Անահիտ Մանասյանը բարձր է գնահատել երիտասարդների նախաձեռնողականությունն՝ ընդգծելով, որ հատկապես ուրախ է «Օրն իրավունքների պաշտպանության առաջնագծում» նախագծի մասնակիցներին տեսնել արդեն սեփական նախաձեռնություններով և հասարակական գործունեությամբ հանդես գալիս։

The Human Rights Defender noted that the goal of the “Law at the Frontline of Human Rights Protection” project is not only to familiarize young people with the activities of the Human Rights Defender and the problems in the field of human rights protection, but also to give them the opportunity to develop as active and proactive individuals who can play a role in raising and addressing issues of public importance.

Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանը նշել է, որ «Օրն իրավունքների պաշտպանության առաջնագծում» նախագծի նպատակն է ոչ միայն երիտասարդներին ծանոթացնել ՄԻՊ գործունեությանը և մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության ոլորտում առկա խնդիրներին, այլև հնարավորություն տալ նրանց ձևավորվելու որպես ակտիվ և նախաձեռնող անհատներ, որոնք կարող են իրենց դերակատարությունն ունենալ հասարակական նշանակություն ունեցող խնդիրների բարձրաձայնման և հասցեավորման գործում։

Anahit Manasyan emphasized the importance of the active participation of young people in public life, initiatives aimed at raising awareness about human rights, and expressed her willingness to continue cooperation with young people.

Անահիտ Մանասյանը կարևորել է երիտասարդների ակտիվ մասնակցությունը հասարակական կյանքին, մարդու իրավունքների վերաբերյալ իրազեկվածության բարձրացմանն ուղղված նախաձեռնությունները և պատրաստակամություն հայտնել շարունակելու համագործակցությունը երիտասարդների հետ։
