Pashinyan and Rosatom head discuss proposals for construction of new nuclear power plant

«Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ընդունել է «Ռոսատոմ» պետական կորպորացիայի գլխավոր տնօրեն Ալեքսեյ Լիխաչովին և նրա գլխավորած պատվիրակությանը:

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the extension of the operating life of the second power unit of the Armenian NPP and the proposals of the Russian side on the construction of a new nuclear power unit in our country.

Զրուցակիցները քննարկել են Հայկական ԱԷԿ-ի երկրորդ էներգաբլոկի շահագործման ժամկետի երկարաձգման աշխատանքներին և մեր երկրում նոր ատոմային էներգաբլոկի կառուցման վերաբերյալ ռուսական կողմի առաջարկներին վերաբերող հարցեր։

The Prime Minister noted that the Government of the Republic of Armenia continues discussions on the proposals received from international partners on the construction of a new nuclear power unit and the decision will be made in the near future. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized that the final decision will be of an exclusively economic nature, taking into account the price, quality, safety, terms and guarantees.

Վարչապետը նշել է, որ ՀՀ Կառավարությունը շարունակում է քննարկումները նոր ատոմային էներգաբլոկի կառուցման վերաբերյալ միջազգային գործընկերներից ստացված առաջարկությունների շուրջ և որոշումը կընդունվի առաջիկայում։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ընդգծել է, որ վերջնական որոշումը կրելու է բացառապես տնտեսական բնույթ՝ հաշվի առնելով գինը, որակը, անվտանգությունը, ժամկետները և երաշխիքները։

Alexey Likhachev noted that they have constructive cooperation with Armenian partners, including in the direction of extending the operating period of the ANPP’s operating power unit. Next, the Director General of Rosatom presented details on the proposals and possible mechanisms for the construction of a new NPP, as well as small and medium-capacity power units,” the RA government said in a statement.

Ալեքսեյ Լիխաչովը նշել է, որ հայաստանյան գործընկերների հետ ունեն կառուցողական համագործակցություն, այդ թվում՝ ՀԱԷԿ–ի գործող էներգաբլոկի գործունեության ժամկետների երկարաձգման ուղղությամբ։ Հաջորդիվ «Ռոսատոմ»–ի գլխավոր տնօրենը մանրամասներ է ներկայացրել նոր ԱԷԿ–ի, ինչպես նաև փոքր և միջին հզորության էներգաբլոկների կառուցման առաջարկների և հնարավոր մեխանիզմների շուրջ»,- ասված է ՀՀ կառավարության տարածած հաղորդագրությունում։
