The Armenian government is not the cause of Artsakh's loss, but the means

Six years ago, on September 27, 2020, the war began, which changed the fate of Artsakh, Armenia, and the entire region. Three years later, in September 2023, after the military operation and months of crisis, almost the entire Armenian population of Artsakh was forced to leave their homeland. In one week, more than 100 thousand people came to Armenia.

Վեց տարի առաջ՝ 2020 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 27-ին, սկսվեց պատերազմը, որը փոխեց Արցախի, Հայաստանի և ամբողջ տարածաշրջանի ճակատագիրը։ Երեք տարի անց՝ 2023-ի սեպտեմբերին, ռազմական գործողությունից և ամիսներ տևած ճգնաժամից հետո Արցախի գրեթե ամբողջ հայ բնակչությունը ստիպված հեռացավ իր հայրենիքից։ Մեկ շաբաթում Հայաստան եկավ ավելի քան 100 հազար մարդ։

The most difficult question today is not only what we lost. We need to understand why everything reached that point, why the security promises did not work, what role did Russian peacekeepers play, and what political and legal opportunities the forcibly displaced people of Artsakh have today.

Այսօր ամենադժվար հարցը միայն այն չէ, թե ինչ կորցրինք։ Պետք է հասկանալ՝ ինչու ամեն ինչ հասավ այդ հանգրվանին, ինչու չաշխատեցին անվտանգության խոստումները, ինչ դեր ունեցան ռուս խաղաղապահները, և ինչ քաղաքական ու իրավական հնարավորություն ունի այսօր բռնի տեղահանված Արցախի ժողովուրդը։
