Representatives of leading French media outlets in Armenia got acquainted with the IADAAM project and the work on the Vedi reservoir

Within the framework of the “Armenia – Development of Irrigated Agriculture in Ararat and Armavir Regions” (IADAAM) project, ahead of COP17, representatives of leading French media outlets Le Figaro, Le Parisien, Ouest-France, Groupe EBRA (Est-Bourgogne-Rhône-Alpes) and Radio France Internationale (RFI) visited Armenia to get acquainted with the IADAAM project’s work and the current state of the Vedi reservoir. The Ministry of Economy reported this.

«Հայաստան – Ոռոգվող գյուղատնտեսության զարգացումը Արարատի և Արմավիրի մարզերում» (IADAAM) ծրագրի շրջանակներում, COP17-ին ընդառաջ, ֆրանսիական առաջատար լրատվամիջոցների՝ Le Figaro, Le Parisien, Ouest-France, Groupe EBRA (Est-Bourgogne-Rhône-Alpes) և Radio France Internationale (RFI) ներկայացուցիչներն այցելել են Հայաստան՝ տեղում ծանոթանալու IADAAM ծրագրի աշխատանքներին և Վեդու ջրամբարի ներկայիս վիճակին։ Այդ մասին հայտնում են էկոնոմիկայի նախարարությունից:

As part of the visit, they also visited one of the IADAAM demonstration farms to get acquainted with climate change-adapted agricultural practices and their practical application.

Այցի շրջանակում այցելել են նաև IADAAM-ի ցուցադրական ֆերմաներից մեկը՝ ծանոթանալու կլիմայական փոփոխություններին հարմարվողական գյուղատնտեսական գործելակերպերին և դրանց գործնական կիրառմանը։

The visit provided an opportunity to see firsthand how climate adaptation solutions are becoming a practical reality in Armenia.

Այցը հնարավորություն տվեց տեղում տեսնելու, թե ինչպես են կլիմայական հարմարվողականության լուծումները դառնում գործնական իրականություն Հայաստանում։

The IADAAM project, funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented with the support of the French Development Agency (FDFA), aims to transform irrigated agriculture in Armenia.

IADAAM ծրագիրը, որը ֆինանսավորվում է Եվրոպական միության կողմից (ԵՄ) և իրականացվում Զարգացման ֆրանսիական գործակալության (ԶՖԳ) աջակցությամբ, նպատակ ունի վերափոխել ոռոգվող գյուղատնտեսությունը Հայաստանում։

The technical assistance component of the program implemented by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia is being implemented by a consortium with the participation of Agro Consulting Europe, Avenue Consulting Group, Strategic Development Agency NGO, and 3 AR Strategy LLC, with the aim of strengthening agricultural policy and advancing sectoral reforms.

ՀՀ էկոնոմիկայի նախարարության կողմից իրականացվող ծրագրի տեխնիկական աջակցության բաղադրիչն իրականացվում է «Ագրո քընսալթինգ Եվրոփ»-ի, «Ավենյու քընսալթինգ գրուպ»-ի, «Ռազմավարական զարգացման գործակալություն» ՀԿ-ի և «3 ԱՐ Ստրատեգիա» ՍՊԸ մասնակցությամբ կոնսորցիումի կողմից՝ գյուղատնտեսական քաղաքականության ամրապնդման և ոլորտային բարեփոխումների առաջխաղացման նպատակով:
