A new public hearing on the draft government decision on recognizing a public overriding interest in 100% of the shares of ENA was held

The public hearing was chaired by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan.

The public hearing was attended by the Acting Administrator of the Armenian Electric Networks Romanos Petrosyan, the member of the Public Services Regulatory Commission Sergey Aghinyan, the heads and representatives of the energy system companies, representatives of the media, and citizens.

Minister Khudatyan presented the content of the draft.

In particular, he emphasized that the draft on recognizing a public overriding interest was based on the importance of the vital public importance of electricity distribution, uninterrupted power supply to the population, the normal operation of social and strategic facilities, the stability of the energy system, and the protection of consumer rights.

Մասնավորապես ընդգծել է, որ հանրային գերակա շահ ճանաչելու նախագծի հիմքում դրվել է էլեկտրաէներգիայի բաշխման կենսական հանրային նշանակության, բնակչությանը անխափան էնեկտրաէներգիայի մատակարարման, սոցիալական և ռազմավարական օբյեկտների բնականոն գործունեության, էներգետիկ համակարգի կայունության և սպառողների իրավունքների պաշտպանության կարևորությունը։
