After 107 years, Bentley has introduced its first electric car

Bentley has unveiled its first all-electric car, the Torcal, which will hit the market in 2028. It took the British company 107 years to create the first electric car. The SUV, which is more than 4.9 meters long, has two versions: the regular Torcal and the more sporty Torcal S.

The base version develops 810 horsepower, while the Torcal S develops 876 horsepower. The latter accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. The car is equipped with a 108 kWh battery and an 800-volt electrical system. According to Bentley's preliminary estimates, the Torcal will be able to travel about 515 km on a single charge. With a 400 kW charger, it will take about 16 minutes to charge the battery from 10% to 80%.

However, the Torcal will go on sale in the United States in early 2027. The final price is not yet known, but it should be more affordable than the Bentayga, which currently starts at around $230,000.
