Woman's jaw broken during wisdom tooth removal in Moscow

A woman from Moscow accidentally broke her jaw during the removal of her wisdom tooth. Elena told the Baza news agency that she went to the dentist in early September to have her wisdom tooth removed, which was so impacted that it was almost touching the bone.

She underwent a CT scan before the procedure. About 30 minutes after the extraction, she heard a popping sound, followed by a sharp pain. The dentist assumed that the tooth had broken and removed it, but it turned out that the tooth was actually intact.
