Julian is already in the past, we must look forward: Deco

Barcelona sporting director Deco has spoken about the failed attempt to sign Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez.

According to him, the club wanted to sign a mobile striker who could work with his teammates, and Alvarez was one of those options. However, Atletico did not want to sell the player, which is why the deal fell through.

“But Julian is already in the past, we have to look forward. We are happy with everything else. I hope everything is fine with him too, he helps his club, and, in the end, this is football. There are just a lot of negotiations and a lot of transfers that do not work out for us,” Deco said.
