Hossein Mohebi, a spokesman for Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said that US ships had moved about 400 km (250 miles) away from the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, this is evidence of Iran's military success.

Mohebi did not provide the names of the ships or any verifiable information about their location. He also said that the confrontation with the US would continue until seven conditions presented by Tehran were met.

The Iranian official warned that in the event of a new attack, Iran could expand the geography of military operations, use other types of weapons and change targets.
