Touching upon the case of Robert Kocharyan, Khamoyan noted that the authorities aim to suppress resistance before making new concessions. “We have given our political assessment very clearly regarding the case initiated against President Kocharyan, that he is being subjected to political persecution, and this is not the first time he has been arrested… the persecution against him has not stopped during these eight years.”

Անդրադառնալով Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի գործին՝ Խամոյանը նշեց, որ իշխանությունները նպատակ ունեն ճնշել դիմադրությունը նոր զիջումներից առաջ. «Մենք Նախագահ Քոչարյանի նկատմամբ հարուցված գործի վերաբերյալ շատ հստակ տվել ենք մեր քաղաքական գնահատականը, որ նա քաղաքական հետապնդումների է ենթարկվում, և առաջին անգամ չէ, որ կալանավորվում է… այս ութ տարիների ընթացքում չեն դադարել իր նկատմամբ հետապնդումները»։

According to the deputy, this is being done on purpose. “It is more than obvious, I think, that Nikol Pashinyan, these authorities are trying to break the axis of resistance, the hearth, which will be in response to their further steps and actions… Nikol Pashinyan, unlike the previous period, admits to himself that he still has something to give to Azerbaijan. And satisfying Aliyev’s demands is not the first time that Nikol Pashinyan has carried out. Today, it is no secret to you that two presidents of Artsakh are sitting in a Baku prison, and the other president is sitting in a Yerevan prison. I think this best describes the situation we have found ourselves in.”

Ըստ պատգամավորի՝ սա արվում է նպատակային. «Առավել քան ակնհայտ է, կարծում եմ, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, այս իշխանությունները փորձում են կոտրել այն դիմադրության առանցքը, օջախը, որը լինելու է իրենց հետագա քայլերին և գործողություններին ի պատասխան… Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ի տարբերություն նախորդող ժամանակահատվածի, ինքնախոստովանում է, որ դեռ հանձնելու բան ունի Ադրբեջանին։ Իսկ բավարարել Ալիևի պահանջները առաջին անգամ չէ, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը իրականացնում է։ Այսօր ձեզ համար գաղտնիք չէ, որ Արցախի երկու նախագահներ նստած են Բաքվի բանտում, իսկ մյուս նախագահը նստած է Երևանի բանտում։ Սա կարծում եմ լավագույնս նկարագրում է այն իրավիճակը, որում մենք հայտնվել ենք»։

Responding to the question of how the property confiscation case is connected to geopolitics, Khamoyan said: “The fact that President Kocharyan has always been a supporter of friendly Armenian-Russian relations and the strengthening of these relations, I think there is nothing new here. The fact that Nikol Pashinyan has clearly created numerous problems in Armenian-Russian relations today, which will have direct consequences for our population… I also think this is a fact.”

Պատասխանելով այն հարցին, թե ինչպես է գույքի բռնագանձման գործը կապվում աշխարհաքաղաքականության հետ, Խամոյանն ասաց․ «Այն, որ նախագահ Քոչարյանը մշտապես եղել է հայ-ռուսական բարեկամական հարաբերությունների և այդ հարաբերությունների ամրապնդման կողմնակիցը, կարծում եմ այստեղ որևէ նորություն չկա։ Այն, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը այսօր ակնհայտորեն բազմաթիվ խնդիրներ է ստեղծել հայ-ռուսական հարաբերություններում, որոնք ուղիղ իրենց հետեւանքներն են ունենալու մեր բնակչության համար… դա ևս կարծում եմ փաստ է»։

According to the MP, this is also a message to society: “You want to create the impression that these oppositionists serve the interests of Russia against the Republic of Armenia.”

Պատգամավորի համոզմամբ՝ սա նաև ուղերձ է հասարակությանը. «Դուք ուզում եք տպավորություն ստեղծել, որ հասարակության մոտ տպավորություն ձևավորվի, որ ընդդեմ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության էս ընդդիմադիրները սպասարկում են Ռուսաստանի շահերը»։

Referring to the case of property and money attributed to Sedrak Kocharyan, Khamoyan described it as absurd: “For example, they say that in 2001 they bought the property for, say, 40 million, in 2021 they sold it… for 500 million. 20 years ago the price of land and property was different, 20 years later it is different… And the trials are being held in the anti-corruption committee they created… But one day they decided that what is being investigated in their anti-corruption committee is not effective… And Nikol Pashinyan from the National Assembly says, go, close it, put it in prison, do this, do that, this is the situation in our country. And this is a tragedy. How can you be or consider yourself an effective leader with such a corrupt, irresponsible person who has no respect for his own citizens?”

Անդրադառնալով Սեդրակ Քոչարյանին վերագրվող գույքերի և գումարների գործին՝ Խամոյանն այն աբսուրդ որակեց. «Օրինակ ասում են 2001-ին գույքը գնել են օրինակ 40 միլիոնով, 2021 թվականին վաճառել են… 500 միլիոնով։ Է 20 տարի առաջ հողի, գույքի գինը այլ էր, 20 տարի հետո այլ է… Եվ իրենց ստեղծած հակակոռուպցիոնում գնում է դատերը… Բայց էսպես մի օր որոշել են, որ արդյունավետ չի իրենց հակակոռուպցիոն կոմիտեում քննվող… Ու Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը Ազգային ժողովից ասում է՝ գնացեք, փակեք, նստեցրեք, էս արեք, էն արեք, սա է մեր երկրի իրավիճակը։ Ու սա ողբերգություն է։ Էսպիսի խախուռն, անպատասխանատու, սեփական քաղաքացու հանդեպ հարգանք չունենալով դու ո՞նց կարող ես լինել կամ քեզ համարել արդյունավետ ղեկավար»։

The MP insisted that the processes are being directly instructed by the Prime Minister. “This is absolutely political persecution, Nikol Pashinyan said that, I am not saying that. Nikol Pashinyan announced from the rostrum of the National Assembly that the time for political persecution is now beginning. From the rostrum of the National Assembly, he gave direct instructions to the law enforcement agencies, and the actions took place the next day.”

Պատգամավորը պնդեց, որ պրոցեսներն ուղիղ հրահանգվում են վարչապետի կողմից. «Սա բացարձակապես քաղաքական հետապնդում է, դա ասել է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, դա ես չեմ ասում։ Ազգային ժողովի ամբիոնից Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հայտարարեց, որ հիմա արդեն սկսվում է քաղաքական հետապնդումների ժամանակը։ Ազգային ժողովի ամբիոնից ուղիղ ցուցումներ է տվել իրավապահ ուժային կառույցներին, հաջորդ օրը տեղի են ունեցել գործողությունները»։

In conclusion, Khamoyan noted that the government is acting with political revenge and depriving people of their jobs and property. “Today, because of their political revenge, the ordinary person is deprived of his job. The person who holds the position of Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia… by virtue of his office, he is obliged, it is his duty… to protect the interests and rights of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia. But he trampled on those interests and rights to satisfy his political revenge.”

Եզրափակելով՝ Խամոյանը նշեց, որ իշխանությունը գործում է քաղաքական վրեժխնդրությամբ և զրկում է մարդկանց աշխատանքից ու սեփականությունից. «Այսօր իրենց քաղաքական վրեժի պատճառով շարքային մարդը զրկված ա աշխատանքից։ Մարդը ում զբաղեցնում ա Հայաստանի Հանրապետության վարչապետի պաշտոնը… ի պաշտոնե ինքը պարտավոր ա, իրա պարտականությունն ա… պաշտպանել Հայաստանի Հանրապետության քաղաքացու շահերը ու իրավունքները։ Բայց էդ շահերը ու իրավունքները ոտնատակ ա տվել իր քաղաքական էդ վրեժը հագեցնելու համար»։
